Griped: aws.amazon.com
AWS refuses to open port 25 for new ec2 customer. Basic email service has been declined twice for no reason other than their default response. Will find a provider that allows email support so I can interact with customers.

Ordered a bunch of product two weeks ago and have not received order but was charged. Not getting a response via email or chat from customer service. Will be returning (if I ever hear from them). Not cool.

Griped: www.costco.com
Had a fun run in with the tire dept at Costco. After a 3 week wait, they said they wouldn't put on our snow tires. Supervisor said they are the wrong size and may "blow up" if they installed them even though Costco has put them on the car the previous two years. Called the dealership on the way home. Tire size is fine. Just not the recommended size but absolutely will be safe on the car. Dealership got me an appt in one day and is installing them tomorrow for $10 more. No need to go back to Costco tires again...lol

Stop selling returned items! Excited to participate in Reformation's black Friday sale, I purchased a pair of metallic heeled sandals perfect for holiday parties. After taking about 30 minutes to park in the mall, I picked up the shoes store and should have checked the box before I left. These pretty sandals look like someone wore them to a party and returned. This is not ok. Seeing this becoming a norm with online purchases. When will retailers get the hint that this is not good quality? Returning.

[edited]...Someone sent me a 2 month trial to try premium. I don't even use the regular but for some stupid reason I tried it.
Now they just billed me $44? For ONE month? Their service isn't even worth the "free" trial! Site is for arrogant people who like posting not-rel, word salad and who keep checking lame-ass stats all day. Ooooh look how many "great post" comments i got. Get off LinkedIn and do something important vs post nonsense for nonsensical praise.

Watch out for this company. I thought I was buying a 4-month supply and they snuck in a subscription on me. Wouldn't refund when it renew'd. SneakyPete!

They tell potential publishers one thing, then when publishers meet every qualification they state, AIM comes up with other obscure reasons not to accept you. That is not how affiliate marketing programs are supposed to be run and their brands are losing online sales due to what appears to be ego driven business decisions.

If you are looking to grow your publisher-base and online sales, there are better OPM's out there.

Why did you have to ruin a great Seattle Kraken beanie by putting a Mitchell and Ness logo on it.

Our furnace stopped working in winter. Called BlackLion for an emergency repair. Tech came out hooked a jumper up, played with few things, then showed me how the blower motor was dirty. The furnace was 9 years old. Said I needed a new one and they could come install a new one the following Monday for $5K. Ended up charging me $200 for what turned out to be a sales pitch.

After the tech left, I took of the furnace cover and the noticed the furnace light blinking a consistent pattern. I Googled it and it turns out you count the flashes and look on the panel for the error code. Error 24 inducer motor failure. Ordered a new one and installed it. Furnace is fine. The fact that the tech did not do this or (knew how to do this) speaks volumes about their company.

Then I called the owner about the charge and he said he would take care of it. Never heard back. Tried calling him a couple more times, ghosted to VM. IMO, there are far better companies out there than BlackLion.

I called Bob Oates for a free pipe inspection. A tech called and showed up within 15 min. Then he let me know he wasn't the "free inspection" tech. I told him I called for a free inspection and he assured me he wouldn't charge me. He brought in a camera to see what was going on and found a clog, busted through it part ways and ended up charging $200. Truck fee, etc. I only paid him because he busted through the clog but then he said there are more issues and the free inspection guy will come out and develop a plan.

Sorry Oates. I won't use you again or recommend you to anyone. Rather scammy to me. If you say it's a free inspection hold to your word or get posted on Gripe!

My packages from Nordstrom take way too long to be delivered. Either go in store or order from Amazon.

Winston, an unconditional warranty should be just that. having to pay $100 to fix my fly rod, seems like a condition. We will fix your rod if you pay us $100...that's a condition and BS if you ask me. Plus I have to pay shipping both ways plus it takes 6 weeks. F' that for a $1000 rod. Not to mention you keep increasing the cost to repair price? You guys suck and lost a future customer.

Watch out for AMEX's shady business practice. If you miss a payment, AMEX will charge interest on all your purchases the following month as well as the missed month, even though those purchases are technically not yet due and should not be accruing interest.

So if you miss June's payment by one day, you would think you are going to get 31 days of interest on you next statement...(30 days plus 1 day), but that's not how they do it. Because there billing cycle is 30 days, they sneakily charge interest on all the purchases made during the entire billing cycle until they receive your payment, even though those purchases technically are not overdue and should not be accruing interest.

That is an absolute scam. Any class action lawyers want to give that a go? $900 payment. $70 in interest in June, $40 late fee, $70 interest in July. $180 in fees for 2 days late.

I ordered a pair of Adidas Sambas. It took roughly 9 days for the shoes to get delivered (way too long). Then the box came completely crushed. Not that the box is important, but I keep my shoes in their boxes in my closet and this one I had to throw it away, not happy.

Nordstrom, when you put a shoe box in a plastic bag, it’s going to get crushed by the shipper. Put the shoe box in a box when shipping.
